How a parachute jump works
When you arrive at the meeting point, you’ll be given a 15-minute safety briefing. Then, equipped with your gear, you’ll board the helicopter for a 10 to 15 minute flight, taking you to an altitude of several thousand metres. Once you’ve reached the ideal height, the jump will begin.
You’ll experience several seconds of freefall at around 200 km/h, before the parachute opens at 1,500 metres, giving you a smoother descent and a breathtaking view of the landscape. If you wish, you can even steer the parachute canopy. The landing will be soft a few minutes later, and your companions will be given the information they need to get to the landing site.
