The small village of Veyrier, situated under the mountain of the same name, offers two pleasant beaches. Access is easy by bicycle via the cycle track from Annecy.
The beach of the Brune
This pretty beach, very close to Annecy, is open all year round, it is free and supervised only from July to August from 11 am to 7 pm. It is a grassy beach with a Blue Flag rating since 2009. It is non-smoking. Parking is charged at €2 per hour. It is therefore advisable to use the free bus service.
You will particularly appreciate its sandbank on the edge of Lake Annecy, which allows you to descend gradually into the water.
As for the facilities, a paddling pool for children, a snack bar, showers and toilets are available. A floating chair is available for people with reduced mobility to facilitate access to the water. Parking spaces are subject to a parking meter. The beach has been awarded the Blue Flag since 2009. Swimming lessons are offered every morning from 9am to 12.30pm.

The Plan beach
This large grassy beach is located next to the sailing club. It has large trees for shade. Its gently sloping configuration allows you to enjoy the view of the shores of Lake Annecy. Parking with a parking meter is available nearby. The nearby sailing club offers the following water sports activities: kayaking, paddle, windsurfing, wakeboarding and wakesurfing. There are courses to learn and improve your skills. It is open on weekends from May to 15 June, then every day from 15 June to 31 August.
Please note that this beach is free, but it is not supervised.
