The Marquisats swimming pool in Annecy is the only open-air pool in the Annecy area. Until now, it has only been open during the summer months. The Marquisats swimming pool will soon be renovated and will become both covered and uncovered so that it will be accessible all year round.
The Marquisats swimming pool has three pools and a paddling pool with games for children. All pools are supervised by several lifeguards.
The Marquisats swimming pool is located between the police station and the Marquisats beach, on the outskirts of the town in the direction of St Jorioz, Sévrier, Faverges and Albertville.
This pool, for hygiene reasons, does not allow shorts or swimming trunks. Only swimming trunks are allowed. Bathing caps are not compulsory, except for courses, activities and schools.
Children under 9 years of age are not allowed in the pool unless accompanied by an adult.

The Marquisats swimming pool is open every day from May 1st to September 6th, except on public holidays. For the rest of the year, you must go to the Seynod swimming pool or the Jean Régis swimming pool.

Prices and subscriptions
Several formulas are available: daily entry, 10-entry tickets or subscriptions. Please note that the ticket book and the subscriptions give access to the two other swimming pools of the agglomeration, L’Ile bleue in Seynod, the Jean Régis swimming pool and also to the Annecy ice rink, which is in the same building as the Jean Régis swimming pool.

Swimming and aquafitness lessons
The Marquisats swimming pool offers swimming lessons for young and old alike. Activities are also offered throughout the year. Aquafitness courses are also part of the programme (aquabike, aquagym, aqua-training and others).

Closure of the Marquisats swimming pool
Important, this swimming pool is closed from autumn 2020 until the first half of 2025, in order to carry out a complete renovation of the sports equipment. Eventually, we will find new heated indoor and outdoor pools, a wellness area and a section dedicated to sports. The cost of the project is €36 million. The new pool will be open all year round.
