Discover the largest aviary in the world
Discover one of the largest parks in Europe dedicated to birds of prey with the largest aviary in the world, “Land of Eagles”. You can move around inside and more than 60 birds of prey move freely on 18,000 m².
A second aviary, “La Lagune”, offers you the opportunity to eat inside.
The park has over 250 birds of prey with 80 different species. It is an exciting discovery for the whole family in an area of over eight hectares.
Since its opening, the site has helped to preserve the birds, and more than thirty species have already bred since the opening.
Three raptor shows in Sciez near Thonon-les-Bains
In addition to the visit to the aviaries, you have the opportunity to attend four high quality shows in a dedicated venue, the Eagle Stadium. It offers 1,000 seats, 400 of which are in the shade, in a setting that includes large trees, two waterfalls, and 400 metres of pathway to visit. There are also picnic areas, toilets and areas for the disabled.

Falconry of the Kings
In the historical tradition of medieval societies, man trains horses and eagles to work together to catch prey. This is a rare and exciting show of equestrian falconry that you can watch. Duration: 20 minutes.
The birds of Lake Geneva
In the large aviary Terre des Aigles, you will discover aquatic birds that need water to feed. They fish or feed on lake plants. Their fishing techniques vary greatly from one species to another. You can see green-necks, egrets, storks and great cormorants. Duration 20 minutes.
Lords of the skies
This is the great show of the Eagles of Geneva, dozens of birds of prey will fly right above the spectators, creating unique sensations. You can be impressed by the large wingspan of these birds. It is also important to remember that most of them are threatened by human activities and that their habitat must be preserved. Duration 40 minutes.
Practical information and activities for children
Several activities are offered to children:
- Inflatable playgrounds: very popular with young people, castles and inflatable slides.
- The educational exhibition : this is a sheltered exhibition that explains why birds of prey are necessary to the ecosystem. Information on the sight and hearing of birds is provided.
- The Rabbit Dome: this area allows the little ones to pet rabbits in a dedicated area.
- The house of small feathers: where you can see young broods of birds of prey.
